What: Occupy The Dancefloor – A Fundraiser for OccupySF
When: Saturday November 19 from 10pm-2am
Cost: $5-$20 (sliding scale)
“If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution,” said famous anarchist Emma Goldman.
#Occupythedancefloor is a way to raise funds for the Occupy camps around the world in need of tents, signage, kitchen gear, blankets and more. Our first official event is coming up November 19 in San Francisco, California.
OccupySF has been raided twice by the cops and is very short on cash. That’s why we’re asking the Bay Area to come #occupythedancefloor Saturday November 19th and make sure all our brave occupiers sleeping on the pavement have what they need to keep this revolution going.
You in? Yes! Good. Now invite all your friends in the Bay to #occupythedancefloor with you. A $5-$20 (sliding scale) means every last one of you 99%ers can sweat it out together at SUB-Mission on the 19th and raise some serious dough for #OccupySF and #OccupyOakland.
Featuring the sounds of:
Gehno Aviance (beatboxsf.com/hoa)
Fil Latorre (houspitality / staple)
Jive (FiXsf.com/JiveBeatz.com)

Occupythedancefloor.org will soon host a toolkit for promoters seeking to organize fundraiser events for local Occupy camps in need.
